PUBLIC WORKS BUILDING COMMITTEE <br /> r <br /> MEETING OF JANUARY 219 1985 <br /> The following members of the Public Works Building Committee were present for <br /> • <br /> the meeting held at the Mashpee Town Hall : Samuel C. Re, John Wyllie, Chester <br /> Brown and Anthony Fi orenti ni . Ellis Laycock was also present, <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> The Chairman reported the Certificate of Compliance had been received from the <br /> Board of Health. Date of Issuance 12/18/84* <br /> An invoice was presented from the Clerk of the Works. <br /> Vote: Moved and seconded to pay Leo CO Sweeney, Clerk of the Works, for 120 <br /> hours from December 31 , 1984 to January 180 1985, an amount of $1200.00. <br /> Unanimous Vote <br /> Concerning the letter from Lawrence Ready Mix to Triple A regarding 3000 lb. <br /> test concrete, Mr. Re read a letter from Town Counsel stating he concurred with <br /> Ellis Lay cock`s opinion that a $1600. credit should be looked for and would re- <br /> commend the Selectmen support this position. Ellis agreed to try to negotiate <br /> this matter with Lawrence Ready Mix and will come back with a figure. <br /> A copy of a letter from Triple A to Mandy was discussed and will be filed with <br /> no action taken, <br /> copy of a letter o <br /> fr m Mello was discussed and as the matter has been resolved, <br /> it will be filed with no action taken. <br /> A copy of a letter from Millen & Sons was read and will be filed with no action <br /> taken; <br /> There was discussion of possible lack of quorum due to members on vacation and <br /> it was decided to follow a recommendation by Joseph Murphy to change the Quorum <br /> to a minimum of three* <br /> VOTE: Moved and seconded to approve a quorum of three committee members <br /> had spoken with the glass roan today and informed him that as a <br /> Ells advised he p g <br /> sub hisR robl ems were with the general contractor as he had not been perfoming <br /> and anotherglass company had accepted the situation and is •proceeding, Ellis <br /> • *p submit t a bill to Triple A.
