PUBLIC WORKS BUILDING COiMMITTEE <br /> MUTING OF MAY X85 1985 <br /> The following meirbers of the Public Works Building Coiiiiiittee were present <br /> for a meeting held at the public Works Facility: Samuel C. Water coming off the roof would <br /> go through the stone and into the sand, It i s his feeling that water <br /> off the roof onto the hot top could give an icing condition. He also <br /> stated he would like to see the proposed island put in the front to <br /> prevent parking there. <br /> Chester Brown suggested Mr. V i rg i 1 io have the selectmen write a letter <br /> to the coninittee requesting a change in design to allow the asphalt to <br /> be left where it is in order to relieve the committee of responsibility <br /> as this is against the recommendation of the architect. <br /> It was agreed a letter will be sent to Mr. Virgilio acknowledging his <br /> request that the paving should be left on the north side of the bu i 1 di ng <br /> andg ran ti rig committee approval . Asphalt wi l 1 he removed from the other <br /> area. <br /> Mr. pe referred to Mr. Vi rgi l i o's memo concerning the minutes of April 23 <br /> and read the paragraph in question pointing out that it stated that Aaron <br /> Cohen came to the facility to put Mr. Virgilio on notice that the gas bill <br /> belonged to the town <br /> It was agreed that the selectmen or town counsel should contact the comm- <br /> ittee directly concerning any questions or problems involving the facility <br /> or committee meetings. <br />
