Also present was Robert Lopez, a candidate for membership. The c ::C airftan, Susan Lannik, called the meeting to order at 6:55 p.m. and appointed John Fitzsimmons a pro t i member. 7:00 JOHN T, of1ILL, 24 Taffrail Way, continued from April 21, 1994, Michael trot ke presenting. This is for an addition for a bathroom and utility room on the north side of the house. The septic will remain the sane and there is no change in the number of bedrooms. Mr. Sherman stated this will be conditioned. He had no concerns with the project, Mr. Averett asked if there were provisions for roof runoff? Mr. Grotzke stated it is very flat; there is no sign of erosion. Public comments were requested; none. VOTE: Motion made and seconded to close the hearing. Unanimous Note. Mr. Sherman stated he drove the route today and there is one area that needs-more stone and a couple that did not get any stone. Mr. Grotzke advised they are still working. Also, Mr. Sherman stated there are erosion channels starting. He was told they are aware and are on top of this. Mr. Grotzke stated they have not been able to resolve matters on Wading Place Road, the leaching catch basin will not work. � _+�y=- Qfth A catch basin, such as is there now, groundwater level would b Jusit under the top of the catch basin'. If a leaching catch basin, most of that would be submerged. He would like to dig a hole, depressed below the level of the road by a foot, elevation 7-1/2 or so, and raise the elevation of the catch basin to just under- neath the elevation of the road. They would vegetate this or line 1t with stone. In a normal storm, water would eater, fill the s ale and percolate into the ground.. Mr. Homeyer asked if they would have 'to pipe out? Mr. Grouke stated there is a lot of water to deal with; it would be better not to cut down the swale, .He would have a regular-,-NDC gas trap and maintenance would be by the Peninsula Couhcll. _ Mr. Fitzsimmons stated hydrocarbons might end exp in the vernal pool. Mr. Grotzke stated the MDC trap is for .this -purpose. Mr. Sherman stated constraints of the topo are limiting. The Corm cion cannot continue on this i without aplan in front of thea. Mr. Desrosiers was not sure the sales are an advantage. Ir. Lopez stated heavy rain will fill it up. Nor.
