This is for an addition for a bathroom and utility room on <br /> the north side of the house. The septic will remain the sane and there is no <br /> change in the number of bedrooms. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated this will be conditioned. He had no concerns with the project, <br /> Mr. Averett asked if there were provisions for roof runoff? Wading Place Road, continued from April 21, 1994. <br /> Michael Grotzke presenting. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated he drove the route today and there is one area that needs-more <br /> stone and a couple that did not get any stone. Mr. Grotzke advised they are still <br /> working. Also, Mr. Sherman stated there are erosion channels starting. He was <br /> told they are aware and are on top of this. <br /> Mr. Grotzke stated they have not been able to resolve matters on Wading Place <br /> Road, the leaching catch basin will not work. � _+�y=- Qfth A catch basin, <br /> such as is there now, groundwater level would b Jusit under the top of the <br /> catch basin'. If a leaching catch basin, most of that would be submerged. <br /> He would like to dig a hole, depressed below the level of the road by a foot, <br /> elevation 7-1/2 or so, and raise the elevation of the catch basin to just under- <br /> neath the elevation of the road. They would vegetate this or line 1t with stone. <br /> In a normal storm, water would eater, fill the s ale and percolate into the ground.. <br /> Mr. Homeyer asked if they would have 'to pipe out? <br /> Mr. Grouke stated there is a lot of water to deal with; it would be better not to <br /> cut down the swale, .He would have a regular-,-NDC gas trap and maintenance would be <br /> by the Peninsula Couhcll. _ <br /> Mr. Fitzsimmons stated hydrocarbons might end exp in the vernal pool. Mr. Grotzke <br /> stated the MDC trap is for .this -purpose. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated constraints of the topo are limiting.
