Road, <br /> Steve Waterhouse presenting. <br /> Mr . Sherman advised a Negative determination was given for pruning and <br /> landscaping. When he met t an on-site , - there were retaining walls <br /> with landscape ties . Ile told them no creosote would be allowed.. It <br /> is questionable whether permittable as shown on the top of the wank. <br /> Mr . Waterhouse stated i t can be a few feet back from the crest of the <br /> bank. Asked if d.eadmen will be used on the wall ,, he stated they will . <br /> Mr . Sherman asked for a new sketch of the project . The Commission can <br /> provisionally accept this as a negative determination if they get prop- <br /> erly filled out forms and a sketch. Mr . Waterhouse stated he can show <br /> this will not be on the crest of the bank. Mr . Sherman wanted it shown <br /> accurately' on a plan where it is located and how high. Mr .. Waterhouse <br /> stated it is three to four levels high, two feet . The wall will come <br /> to an end where lawn will be tapered down to natural grade on both <br /> sides . He will put the corners in, if there is a dnager of washing. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated prior to leaving the site he should call hien so that <br /> he can go to the site and check. <br /> Mr . Waterhouse revised the plan. <br /> Public comments were requested : none . <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to find a Negative Determination <br /> wending receipt of information requested and with the con- <br /> dition that the agent look at the slope to make sure it is <br /> properly staffed. and at the end of the project to make sure <br /> everything that can be done has been done . The house was under construction and as <br /> it proceeded it was desired to have a deck Which would be closer to <br /> the work limit 8 feet , 33 feet from the top of the bank. <br /> Mr . Sherman stated it could be perniitted with the condition that the <br /> area disturbed is to be well vegetated, which was not called for. <br /> The disturbance is closer to the buffer and should be reveg etated <br /> with enhanced revegetation. A 50 foot buffer to the salt marsh is <br /> fine for pollution but not for wildlife habitat , <br />
