Brian Handy stated with the exception of Steve, both were
down there when he was doing the flumes. He defended his
position. More work needs to be done but he was not
negligent. He put in haybales as necessary. He took
exception to being negligible for what he did. Where was
some hole there that the trout were in but this was an old
structure that needed to be repaired, He has put a dike
across the north end which will enable them to put a road
across there. They can establish another deep hole somewhere
else for the trout. '
Mr, Sherman asked how many feet the flume had been moved? I
was 1 - 20 feet, He asked for what purpose and was told the
drainage ditch comes along and is lined up with it.It
'.
Mr. Bandy stated when he gets permission to put the road in,
he can wind the road around. The main reason it was moved is
straight flow.
Mr. Homeyer asked if straight flow creates a problem?
Mr-, Sherman stated the reps allow replacement but not
relocation. He asked if it fits the regs or not, it is the
property of the Commission and they should have been
consulted about it, A protocol will have- to be worked out
and more erosion control is necessary. He suggested taking
the matter under advisement,
Mr, Handy advised he will be harvesting in one week for about
two weeks .
Mr, Homeyer suggested sitting down after that to work out a
protocol..
Mr. dandy stated he is trying to get his point across, Mr.
Sherman was down there when they were doing this. He does
not feel the point- is roving the flume,
Mr, Homeyer stated the point is non-communication.
Mr, Dandy stated he has not done anything that he has not
communicated to Bob Sherman or Steve Ball.
Mfr. Desrosiers suggested setting up a meeting. It sounded to
him like Brian is wiling to work with the Commission. Brian
agreed and suggested getting the group down to the hog on a
Saturday..
Discussion was continued when Brian dandy, was not present and
Mr, Sherman stated Brian justified ghat was done by saying
the Agent was out there and was aware# it was an untruth, he
was not out there; communication works two wayse fork dome
in Falmouth is the same, Mr, Sherman compared Brian to a
bull in a china shop. There should be written protocol and
notice.*
Mr, I esrosiers stated Brian should tell the commission what
he is planning to do ahead of time,
Mr, Homeyer stated a valid point is that the Commission has
