w <br /> 1 <br /> FORWARD DEVELOPMENT: The Agent and Town Planner felt the <br /> Commission should proceed to accept the offer of land. I <br /> was originally supposed to be turned over to the town by the <br /> developer. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to proceed with acceptance of <br /> the offer of lana by Forward Development. <br /> WATER DISTRICT: The Agent asked for a policy on fees. They <br /> are a governmental entity. He asked if the commission wished <br /> to waive the fees <br /> Mrs. Ferriday stated the Commission has already gone through <br /> this and they should pay normal fees. <br /> Mr. Sherman advised they are also amending an order, after- <br /> the-fact, Mrs. Ferriday stated that they should pay after- <br /> the-fact filing fees. <br /> TOWN MEETING G ARTI LES <br /> Tribal council: They may want to consider trailering the <br /> canoes, not storing then on conservation lana. Town Counsel <br /> can be used to try to smooth things out. If it needs Town <br /> Meeting action, more specifications would be needed. <br /> Mr. Green advised it is anon-profit operation. There will <br /> be jobs coming out of it; they will make money for those <br /> salaries. <br /> Mr, Sherman stated under a lease arrangement the torn would <br /> have to receive something. <br /> Cranberry money: This is the money that can be spent on <br /> Conservation lands. $10,000 can stay there (to be verified) . <br /> S n otting Accounts: The Agent will check on these <br /> accounts. <br /> 30A-18 ANTIDOTE: At the next MAGc meeting, they will be <br /> discussing this. It is also being discussed at the Cape cod <br /> Commission next week. There is legal opinion that this does <br /> not apply to town meeting votes* The Agent will draw up an <br /> article for review. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to permit the Agent to work on <br /> a bylaw + change if he finds out 30A-18 does not apply to <br /> town meeting votes,, <br /> Sec# MEMBER: A letter was received from Elliot Rosenberg <br />
