There is a bedroom downstairs that is being <br /> abandoned. <br /> Mr, Homeyer requested architectural plans. <br /> Mrs. Ferriday asked if the path will be abandoned and there <br /> will be steps <br /> Mr. Grotzke stated everything is bark mulch. The plan <br /> creates additional buffer. The path will be moved.. The <br /> plantings will be low plants, such as cotoneaster, chosen <br /> from the list of the County Extension Service. <br /> Mr. Sherman had no objections to the plants but asked if they <br /> would object to not mowing but leave the bark mulch. That is <br /> what is there now. <br /> Mrs. Ferriday asked if the runoff from the roof of the <br /> addition would sheet onto the deck? Mr, Grotzke would direct <br /> the gutter into a drywell; this could be conditioned, she <br /> asked if there are any trees coming down and was told there <br /> is nothing. <br /> Mr, Hoeyer asked if the outside shower was to be abandoned? <br /> Mr. Grotzke stated no, it is existing; there will be a <br /> drywell or pumped into the septic system. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to accept the proposed amend- <br /> ment upon receipt of an architectural plan and <br /> condition a pre-building on-site with the Agent to <br /> verify that it is a three bedroom home, <br /> Mr, Grotzke advised the abutter, Dr, Navazio, from the <br /> previous hearing was notified of the amendment. A letter to <br /> be obtained. <br /> AMENDMENT ACCT . <br /> BURTON LIEBMAN for the construction of a 411 x 20f <br /> addition to an existing dwelling and neve etation o <br /> disturbed areas at 80 Summersea Road, Michael Grotzke <br /> presenting. Abutter notification receipts were provided. <br /> The chair advised this filing falls under Regulations #29 and <br /> o of Chapter 172 of the Mahe Code. <br /> Mr, Grotzke advised this filing is the result of a positive <br /> determination. The homeowner had done landscape work without <br /> a permit unknowingly. This filing includes other structures <br /> on the site, He would like to -construct a closet next to his <br /> bedroom. Because of the other activities, the Determination <br /> was positive. The filing includes the retaining wall , deck <br /> and shed. <br /> Mr. Sherman asked if there is remedial vegetation for that <br /> cut down on the coastal bank? Mr. Grotzke advised Mr.. <br /> Liebman would be amenable to whatever is suggested. <br /> Mrs. Ferriday asked if it is a ten foot strip? <br />
