1 <br /> DTE: Motion made and seconded to accept the proposed <br /> amendment. Unanimous vote. <br /> AM MDHENT ACCEPTED, <br /> INTERVIEWS: <br /> Ralph Shaw advised he has property on Mashpee Pond and has <br /> been in town for 20 gears. He thought serving on the <br /> Commission would be a good opportunity to give something back <br /> to the town. <br /> Mrs. Ferriday asked if there is anything he would like to <br /> zero in on to change for the better? He did not know enough <br /> about the functions at this point; his concerns are general, <br /> such as the water level of the -pond. He had technical <br /> experience in various occupations but not relating to what he <br /> had heard discussed tonight. <br /> Mrs. Ferriday asked if he would be willing to attend <br /> workshops and seminars? Mr. Shaw stated his time is his own; <br /> he could work around on-sites. <br /> Mr. Tesros iers asked if he had any reluctance for enforcement <br /> or spilling the beans on neighbors? lir. Shaw stated no, any <br /> violations should be dealt with. <br /> Mrs. Ferriday apologized for the late hour and thanked him <br /> or coming i n, <br /> Dave Sharpe advised he has been on cape for thirty gears and <br /> on Santuit Pond for twenty, He spends most of his time in <br /> the wood and is free most of the time. He is interested in <br /> conservation and has seen many things he does not like that <br /> are happening. <br /> Mrs. Ferriday asked if he would be available for on-sites and <br /> he said he would, any time. Asked if he would be willing to <br /> bring himself up to speed on regulations, he stated he would. <br /> Mr. Desrsiers asked how he felt about enforcement and he <br /> stated that was not a problem. <br /> Mrs, Ferriday asked if he would be willing t ' attend seminars <br /> and training sessions? He would depending on where and when; <br /> he was not interested in going back to school. <br /> Mr. Sharpe thought he should do something in the town, for <br /> the town and could give some time to the commissions <br /> Mrs. Ferriday thanked him for coming in. <br /> ASST., CONSERVATION AGENT: Applications will close on the <br /> 18th. Volunteers for the screening subcommittee are Elliot <br /> Rosenberg, John Johansen and John Fitzsimmons. <br /> REORGANIZATION: To be discussed next meeting. Mrs <br /> esrosiers will act as Chairman Pro Tem* <br />
