8:10 PATRICK RILEY for the construction of a two bedroom
dwelling, septic system, pervious drive and landscape work at
26 Shorewood Drive, John slavinsky presented abutter
notification receipts. He stated this is a very steep lot.
There is an existing well on the abutting lot. They are only
proposing a two bedroom house and would like to put it 25
feet back from the street. They will have to go before Board
of Appeals. Drywells are proposed and also a walk-out
basement. The septic system is very deep. The lot has been
perked more than once. They would like to landscape the
embankment. Nor. Riley owns the house next door that was done
pretty much the sane way.
Mr. Sherman did not go to the adjacent house but has
reservations about the steepness of the bank and a walkout
basement. He asked how the bank would be stabilized during
construction and after? There is not enough detail
concerning control of erosion; He would prefer to see the
elimination of the walkout basement. They would need some
elaborate stabilization plan for that bank.
Mr. Rosenberg asked if they were going to fill 8 feet in
front? Mr, slavinsky stated the top of foundation is -1/2
feet above the road now.
Mr. Fitzsimmons asked where -the basement exit would be and
Mr. Riley pointed to the location on the plan,
Mr, Sherman would recommend approval without the walkout
basement or they should provide a detailed plan.
Mr. Rosenberg stated they will be cutting 3-1 4 feet of
material out of here and there is no profile. He asked what
they are planning to do if they cut into that bank
Mr, Sherman stated, based on this plan, he would recommend
denial. Architectural plans will be needed as well as Board
of Health approval..
Nor, slavinsky will cone back with a landscape plan to show
how the bank will be stabilized,
Mr. Rosenberg requested a profile, a supplementary plan.
Public comments:
Paxil Fatenaude, an abutter was supportive of the projpct.
CONTINUED To 8 JUNE 1 - 7:40 . .
GAIL ROBINSON to amend the order of Conditions for a
change in footprint of house and deck and relocation of two
d ywells at 11 Bowsprit Point.
