28 December 1995 <br /> i <br /> page 1 . <br /> FIELDS POINT: They are requesting to increase floee <br /> Agent recommended sending a letter to DEF request g that they hold a hearing on this. <br /> VOTE: Mots(m made and seconded to send a lei to DEQ'request g that a hearing be <br /> held on the request by Fields Point to permit an increase in flow for Mahpee <br /> Commons. Unanimous Vote. <br /> CRANBERRYBOGS: A copy of a letter from the Falmouth League of Women Voters <br /> to the Falmouth Conservation was reviewed. A Committee is being formed to look at the <br /> Falmouth town bog%. A& Sherman suggested the Commission do the wine. <br /> The Cranberry Committee will consider this. <br /> It was noted the Mashpee bog lease expires in 1999. <br /> A letter was received from Brian Handy asking if the Commission would assist in any way <br /> with the $8303 balance from the fire loss, after suranee. The C anbery Committee will <br /> discuss this at a mee ft to be scheduled. <br /> FLET : This lot is in the flood zone with trees that were cut down. The septic is <br /> legal and is in the ground; the house is not built. The Agent dewed this with Effiot <br /> Rosenberg who did not think they were grandfathered, <br /> fir. Green stated if the system was put in before the act, they would be grandfathered. <br /> l r. Sherman stated they are askimg for a waiver because of fimances. They will cut the <br /> bedrooms to three, which i still too high; they will forego a lawn and plant more trees. He <br /> asked if the Co don wants to waive the nutrient loadivg regulation for hese people's <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to check to see if the Kraueters are grandfathered <br /> and, if not, deny their request for a waiver. Unanimous Vote. <br /> HARDING: A letter received from Eleanor Harding which offered a parcel of land in the <br /> Moody Pond area was react into the record. The offer will be considered. <br /> CCC: A report Brom the Cape Cod Commission re nutrient loading in 1 opponesset Bay, <br /> Shoestring Bair and Mashpe River was distributed for review. <br /> MACC; The Annual Meeting will be held on Mareh.9. The Agent will obtain a Bt of the <br /> workshops next geek. <br />
