There are
implications for the upcoming hearing.
DCPA: Mr. Sherman stated if the Commission sloes not go ahead with it, it
will die on the vine. Mr. Green and Mr. Sharpe agreed it should go forward.
Mr. Rosenberg was opposed to it. It is something which affects all residents of
the town and should be brought up publiely with the support of the Selectmen
and other Boards. The Commission should take a leading role but should not
take a position which would affect the future of the town by turning over
responsibilities to a non-town agency. We do not have the right as an
appointed Commission to take such a step. There should be a pubhe meeting
so the public wiU be aware we are considering something like this.
Mr. Green stated let's not do it in secret, lets have a public hearing.
IIIb. Fitzsimmons agreed with Mr. Rosenberg.erg.
