5 September 1996 <br /> Page 1 . <br /> Mr. Desrosiers thanked Mr. Taylor for these projects done and not paid for out <br /> of the Mashpee taxpayers pockets. <br /> Mashpee code: Chapter 112. - De g with denial of permits for taxes <br /> owed. Kapel man & Paige opuuon distributed for review. <br /> Def io: Swimming wool violation. fir. Defa ids lawyer asked for- a copy of <br /> the Fawn Code. <br /> Mr. Sherman advised when an application .is denied, the person has to be <br /> given notice and an opportunity for a public hearing. <br /> Mashpee.Water District: A letter was sent to them and a letter has come <br /> back. It was noted,there was an article in the newspaper stating they will <br /> start construction on Sampson's Hill on Monday. <br /> Mashpee River DCPA: A copy of a letter to the Board of Selectmen <br /> requesting a meeting to discuss a DCPC-on the Mashpee River was reviewed. <br /> The Chairman will call Nancy Gwyn, the Commission's liaison. <br /> Lavin Standards: A copy of a letter-from the Buzzards lay Project, who has <br /> been reviewing the draft proposal and endorsed it. They have asked <br /> permission seminate it. <br /> Trout Pond.: 'rout Pond did overflow and washed out the road. He met <br /> with Fields Paint who has been in contact with Trustees of Reservations and <br /> it was agreed a rrdal patch job would he appropriate. If not repaired, there <br /> could be a significant washout. The plan is that the Fire Dept. will give <br /> letter that they want to keep that road open for pudic safety. Doug Storrs <br /> has offered to donate plantings. Greg Taylor will be asked to do the work. <br /> VOTE: Motion Ornade and seconded to accept the request for an Emergency <br /> Certificate as outlined. Unanimous Vote. <br /> Planimeter: Mr. Sherman stated it may be desirable to consider the <br /> purchase of a planimeter (cost $200-400)for use in oases such as when he was <br /> trying to figure lawn area on the Regan project. <br /> Mr. Desrosiers stated it is a standard piece of survey equipment and suggest <br /> it would be better to go with something on the computer; the planimeter is <br /> almost obsolete. He will discuss this with Mr. Sherman. <br />
