Dane presenting. <br /> Mr. Ball stated a portion of the deck expansion fags within the 50 foot buffer <br /> zone which prompted a mitigation plan. A plan showing a fisting conditions <br /> and proposed enhancement areas was shown. <br /> Mr. Rosenberg asked if the deck expansion was permitted? Mr. Sherman <br /> stated no. fir. Rosenberg asked if it preceded the regs for the 59 foot buffer? <br /> Mr. Ball stated the main concern was the effect on wildIffe habitat. They <br /> hoped to design a plan to mitigate these impacts and it is Fugre opm' 'On this <br /> plan wl enhance wildlife habitat. <br /> A/Ir. Sherman stated the green area wiU become shrubs, it is sand now, it <br /> accepted and he recommended it should be. He stated the was the deck <br /> addition was done was reprehensible but this plan is an improvement. He <br /> asked Mr. Ball if the client would be w ing to have him supervise the <br /> plantings. Mr. Ball stated they spoke informa Ry about that and he will. <br /> There are 44 plantings. <br /> Mr. Fitzsimmons found it distressing to have someone come before the <br /> Commission with something like this, if you wart a deck go ahead and build it <br /> and cone in with a plan to put in a few shrubs and get away~ with it. <br /> Mr. Rosenberg was concerned that the Commission had denied a solar <br /> situation. <br /> Abutter notification receipts were provided. The list was certified. <br /> Mr. Ball felt it was important to show how much of the deck expansion was in <br /> the buffer zone and how much area they are wing to plant and allow t <br /> grow. The doss-hatched area will not be pruned at all. W. Sherman stated if <br /> the planted area is approved, they will have to maintain it. <br />
