17 October 1996 <br /> Page'7. <br /> Regan: The amended order is being appealed for the decision about the lawn. <br /> Meeting Schedule: Proposed schedule reviewed. <br /> VOTE: Motion,made and seconded to accept the 1997 schedule as proposed. <br /> Unanimous Vot . <br /> Grant Proposal: The Agent distributed information on grants from the Weeden <br /> Foundation. <br /> Flume: Request received from neighbors to deternfine procedure for clew debris at the <br /> flume. The Agent stated it may be possible to do this without a filing. He,will mn this b <br /> the DPW Director and Executive Secretary. It will have to be done properly. <br /> Green advised the faU.migration of the fry hang'is going on right now. <br /> W. Fitzsimons asked if the committee that was formed is involved in fids? Shan <br /> stated yes and no. Maintenance and cleaning would be part of the plan. <br /> A&. Sherman stated at this point in time, it would not qualify for a public health and safety <br /> issue. <br /> l&. Desrosicrs stated there has been disparate infonnation. The water is 21 inches higher <br /> than in years. Boards are not being removed. <br /> Rosenberg stated if town land, it has to be fled by the town. <br /> Green suggested contacting Steve Furley. <br /> Land Donation: An offer of three parcels of land has been received from John Otis <br /> Drew. All are in the Open Space Plan. The Co nussion would have to fund appraisals <br /> for the land. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to expend funds, at the discretion of the Agent, for <br /> the appraisal of land to be donated to the Commission. Unanimous Vote. <br /> later was received from Mycock Agency concerning two lots of land owned by .dames <br /> and Sylvia Walker. They have been receiving an abatement for forest cutfing and the <br /> Town has the right for fist refusal when put up for sale. By law, the town world have t <br /> match offers he already has. <br />
