19 December 1996 Page 3. 7:25 THE CAPE COD BANK & TRUST COMPANY for a Determination of the wetlands resource area at 402 Nathan E11i Highway and 420 Nathan Elis I-fighway. Michael Grotzke presenting. Mr. Grotzke advised he and Mike Ball of Fugro vvill walk the site with the .gent to delineate the resource areas. Mr. Sherman recommended a Negative Determination contingent upon his review and acceptance of the wetland line. It can he moved with corrections made in the field. He will report lack to the Commission at the next meeting. Public commments. none. VOTE: Motion made and seconded to find a negative determination subject to approval of the plan by the Agent. Unanimous Vote. NEGATIVE PENDINGO 7:30 NEW SEABURY PENINSULA COUNCIL, Reserve Area _2, Triton Way, request to amend continued from 14 November 1996. Michael Grotzke presenting. The plan to roughen the stones was reviewed. Mr. Grotzke wrote a letter to Rebecca Haney at CZM that proposed to chip away the concrete on the vertical faces and support around the pads. Ms Ramey felt this was a good compromise to removing the pads. Mr. Sherman asked if they wiR do this when the pads are exposed? Mr. Grotzke stated they will make an assessment early in the Spring and then go in with a jackhammer and roughen up the stones. Mr. Sherman stated he discussed this with Ms Haney and if conditioned that he see the work after it is clone and monitors it to see that it is working before giving a Certificate of Compliance, he would have no objections. Mr. Grotzke agreed. A letter will be in the file to show what will be done. Public comments: none. VOTE: Motion made and seconded to accept the amendment with the stipulation the Agent investigate in the early spring to see when the area is exposed if it can be done and to further monitor to see that it is working properly.
