Y <br /> } <br /> MA HPEE WATERWAYS COMMISSION <br /> MINUTES, 1 SEPTEMBER, 1998 <br /> Chairman Jim Hanks called the meeting to order at 7801 p.m. in Conference Room ,Mashpee <br /> Town Hall t <br /> Present, Jerry Daly, Fred Fordham, Jim Hanks, Paul Lumsden Don Lund Herb Silver, and <br /> Bill Taylor. <br /> Others: Ed Baker,Les Greig, Bob Hamilton, Bradaff na Curtis Frye <br /> PRESENTATION, <br /> The first item of business was a presentation by Mir. Robert Hamilton Aubrey <br /> Consulting, � <br /> Inc., of the findings and workings of the hydrodynamic numerical computer model <br /> used to analyze the flushing characteristics of the Mashpee liver under several different dredging <br /> scenarios. <br /> At approximately 8: 05 PM, the regular meeting resumed. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT: <br /> Mr.Baker requested that the old "6 MPH NO WAKE" floatingsign that used to be n <br /> � ear <br /> Paul Lumsden's dock be replaced. Mr. Hanks explained that the Harbormaster is f responsible r <br /> this, b law, and we will take it up with him. The ed this request <br /> because of Coast Guard rules about navigable waters. The Waterways Commission will discuss <br /> the issue with the Harbormaster. An on-shore sign might be possible. <br /> Mr; Lumsden stated as public comment that Mr. Hanks and Mr. Daly were t <br /> commended for a good briefing to the Selectmen, <br /> REVIEW AND ACCEP'T'ANCE OF MINUTES: <br /> LOTION by Mr. Silver to accept the Minutes of March <br /> p , 1998 as corrected, wasseconded <br /> by r.
