new dock is already sticking out six to eight feet further than the old dock and he is adding
i a +
a twenty-foot ramp and eight foot float. Ir. Ellis mentioned that he didn't think the
Waterways Commission had ever seen a plan for this dock. He asked if the Commission
would put a letter forward to the Board of Appeals also with their concerns on this
project.
Ir. Hanks stated that he could write a letter that we are aware of this project and we
have not received any plans which is a violation of the zoning by-lav and therefore e
wouldn't concur with it. If they bring us thep Tans we can evaluate then.
Help for water Ouali1y Westin
Mr. Silver mentioned that he spoke with Malcolm McGregor at the Nass. Maritime,
who is the head of the water testing program. He would be very willing to help us out
except during these months they will be on the training vessel and they will not be back
until April, So
, if e want to plan ahead and involve these people iii April, in order to
maybe have somebody when the bad weather comes in next year. He believes it would
not be a bad idea to contact them in the spring. Nr. Hanks added that the water sampling
.p g
would be suspended during Januar and February.
ADJOURNMENT,
MOTION made to adjourn and so voted unanimously.
Respectfully Submitted,
Angela Newhall
5
