19 Apr, Hanks to Fields, asking when we would see Errata sheet and disk of
spreadsheet calculations.
9 May, Harks to Murray re-hearing agenda and draft regulations, Sandwich hearing
date.
. Other New Business
Jim Hams led a discussion about the Waterways Concession meeting with the
Conservation omission. .After some discussion, it was agreed upon that we would
rule out the conservation parcels as one of the options to use in the lashpee liver
Dredging Project.
Jim Hanks suggested waiting a letter to the selectman stating that we have researched the
dredging plans and have_not yet cone up with a solution to our dredging disposal needs.
Paul Lumsden agreed that this seemed{like a good idea. John Swartzbaugh added that we
might take the two favorable dredging sites and.ask the public for comment to help us
decide which site to use for our dredging needs. After discussion, the commission
decided to write a letter to the selectman summarizing the report sent to us by the Woods
Hole Group, eliminating the Conservation land as possible dredging disposal sites,
leaving the two remaining alternative sites and telling the selectman that we have not
been able to (as of this date) locate a suitable site for disposal of the dredging material.
Paul Lumsden made a notion to adjourn the meeting. Bill Taylor seconded the motion
and all other members voted in favor. The meeting was adjourned at 10-55 p.m.
Respectfully Submitted,
Jennifer Ahearn
Board Secretary
Waterways Comrnission
