6 March 1397
Page 2.
Mr. Johansen advised this was previously passed for the Lees. It was never
done and the house was sold.
Ms Marino stated they are extending the room out with a deck above.
Public comments: none.
VOTE: Motion made and seconded to find a negative determination.
Unanimous Vote.
NEGATIVE DETERMINATION.
7:30 HOWARD GLASER, 1 'fide Run, continued from 19 September 1996.
There was no one present for this hearing.
1s Terrio read a letter into the record received from Joanne Fox, Secretary of
the Little Neck Bay Association, stating a notice was published in the
Mashpee Enterprise on Tuesday, March 5, 1997, in an article by Paul. Ott
which was not an ocial notice of a public hearing. She stated the plans for
public hearings for the Conservation Coma-i ssion are supposed to be available
to the public for viewing five clays prior to the hearing. Today is one day prior
to the hearing and there are no plans available at the Conservation office at
this time.
It was noted this was received by Fax and dated Wednesday, March 6.
The letter continued, more than 60 letters from residents of Little Neck Bay
were sent to the Board of Appeals objecting to variances. It was requested
that the hearing be postponed again until the abutters and any other
neighbors may have the opportunity to view the proposed plans. This
property affects the entrance of their village aesthetically and from a safety
standpoint. strict adherence to Conservation and Board of Appeals rules
should be considered. She asked d that consideration be given to their
objections.
Mr. Fitzsimmons: What about Mr. Glaser, what is his position:
Ms Terrio: 1 couldn't answer that as of now, we still do not have a plan if we
choose to even entertain this tonight.
i lr. Fitzsimmons: We have to deny? Does anybody else have any questions?
Is there anyone the audience who wishes to comment on this application?
