MASHPEE CONSERVATION COMMISSION <br /> Minutes 17 April 1997 <br /> Commissioners present: John Fitzsimmons, Eliot Rosenberg, Ralph <br /> Shaw, Harry Iesrosiers, John Johansen. <br /> The Chairman called the meeting to order at 6;55 p.m. <br /> 6:55 PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: Dr. Shammash of Popponesset Island <br /> Road carne before the board. He stated he applied.in July of 1994 to rehab his <br /> house and discussed adding one bedroom, He has an emoting lawn and the <br /> Commission wanted to have him reduce nitrogen applied to the lawn. When <br /> the Order of Conditions cane out, it was restrictive as he had to report four <br /> times a year. It is like a lien on the property. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated current requirements are once a year. <br /> Dr. Shammash stated he would like to be relieved of the need to report it. <br /> Mr. Fitzsimmons asked if thisis a problem to the Lawn Company? Aft. <br /> Sherman advised it is not and this is so stated in their letter. Mr. <br /> Fitzsimmons stated that there is nothing to discuss if they have no objection. <br /> Dr. Shammash h did not mind the limited amount of nitrogen but felt he was <br /> being singled out. 11r. Rosenberg advised everyone gets that same condition <br /> for a lawn. lir. Shammash stated it should be a county axle. He was told the <br /> Commission can only cleal with those applications brought to them under <br /> state law. <br /> It was noted the Certificate of Compliance had not been recorded. Mr. <br /> Sherman stated it can be rewritten with the one report per year. Dr. <br /> Shammash agreed. <br /> :10 JOSEPH S LAMS, 12 Little Neck Lane, continued from 3 April 1997. <br /> 11r. Sherman stated this was continued for details since supplied. The issue <br /> of run-off has been addressed and there will be a pre-work on-site. <br /> Public comments: none. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to fmcl a negative determination. <br /> Unanimous Vote. <br /> LEGATIVE DETERMINATION. <br />
