Sherman advised Mas Audubon does not care much for this. <br /> He and A& Green will write a response. <br /> VOTE: Motion ,jade and seconded with respect to the Holand M s Pumping Station <br /> Matter, that the Agent and George Careen be authorized to put together a <br /> response, as long as it is approved by the C . Unanimous Vote. <br /> Sisson: Request received from the Sissons who are renting the Popponesset Island <br /> proper before the Commission and put hot tub in. 'heir lease is up September 1 and <br /> they would like to leave it up until then. IVIr. Sherman stated it would not hurt to leave it <br /> up ff they get a penmit after-the-fact RDA. <br /> 1&. Green asked if it is a threat to the resource? Ar. Sherman stated it would set a <br /> precedent. 1t is a portable unit sit ft on cinder blocks. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to authorize the agent to notify fir. Sisson that he <br /> needs to come in and file an after-the-fact RDA. Unanimous Vote. <br /> Grant: John Johansen is working on a grant application and found out the Cornnussion <br /> would not be eligible. He put a lot of time in and he should be compensated. It would <br /> consist of a mailing to abutters of the Quashnet and Ma.shpee were t6 educate the public <br /> Of watershed issues. Cost would be approximately$1000. <br /> VOTE:: Motion made and seconded to spend $1000 from the Conservation Fund t <br /> educate the public. Unanimous Vote. <br /> Package to be presented to the Commission for approval. <br /> Conservation Bands: The Agent stated there is a need to devote a meeting or have a <br /> subcommittee work on regulations for conservation lands.
