Rick <br /> Clifford who has expressed interdst in serving on the Commission. <br /> Mr. Clifford advised,he has lived on Cape for 20 years and resided in Mashpee <br /> for 5 years. He is employed by Benthos Inc., manufacturers of Oceanographic <br /> equipment. He is involved in underwater robotics field and does travel <br /> frequently. Mr. Fitzsinmons thanked him for coming its. <br /> 7:15 PAUL BLAST for a Determination of Applicability on construction of <br /> portion of a garage, renovation of lawn area and related landscaping within <br /> 10 feet of the top of a coastal bank at 6 1 Spoondrift Way. <br /> W. Sherman advised only a small portion of the lot is under the <br /> Commission's jurisdiction. Popponesset Creek is non-river. <br /> Mr. Grotzke had a survey done and the lot is entirely out of the Commission's <br /> jurisdiction. Mr. Sherman asked if he was statim that he did not have to file? <br /> That was correct. Mr. Sherman will verify this. It was agreed if the lot is <br /> under jurisdiction, a negative determination will be issued. <br /> Public comment: none. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to find negative provided the lot i <br /> under the Commission's jurisdiction. Unanimous Vote. <br /> Nor. Sherman elaborated, a negative determination predicated upon the fact <br /> the amount of work that the Commission thought was within our jurisdiction <br /> is, but if it turns out that jurisdiction will defme more work that was not <br /> described on the plan, they would have to refile.
