MASHPEE CONSERVATION COMMISSION <br /> Minutes of 17 September 1998 <br /> Com issioners present: John Fitzsimmons, Greg Wirsen, Ralph Shaw, <br /> John Johansen, Tad Wollenhaupt, George <br /> Green, Jr. <br /> The Chair caked the meeting to order at 6:55 p.m. with a quorum present, <br /> Mr. Green l ft the meeting to attend the Public Hearing on Mashpee <br /> Commons and returned at 5:30 p.m. <br /> 7:10 DON F. GOODWIN for a I eterm ation of Apphcability on a request <br /> to demolish and remove an existing house, porch and patio; pump and an <br /> existing cesspool with dean sand; and to plant a row of 9 indigenous plants <br /> along the edge of the disturbed area closest to the wetlands at 34 Cove Road. <br /> N.chael McGrath presenting with Mr. Goodwin. <br /> Mr, Sherman had not seen the site. He had no problem with the concept, <br /> however, the Assistant Agent cid the on-site and there was illegal cutting <br /> the buffer zone. <br /> Mr. Goodwin stated there was a very large tree knocked down inn a storm <br /> which took down two or three other trees. They had to be removed. <br /> fir. Sherman stated he should have contacted the Com sion. The hearing <br /> ng <br /> will have to be continued. <br /> The Chair asked if this should be under a Notice of Intent? Mr. Sherman <br /> stated the new dwelling will be further back and what is proposed is an <br /> improvement. <br /> Pubic comment: none. <br /> VOTE; Motion made and seconded to continue the hearing at the request of <br /> the applicant to 1 October 1998 at 7:15 p.m. Unanimous ous Vote, <br /> BRING CONTINUED, <br /> 7: TEM C. MARSH for a Determination of Applicability on a request to <br /> permit an after-the-fact instaatin of an electric and water service to a <br /> permitted clock at 77 Light house Lane. <br />
