1 October 1998 <br /> Page 8. <br /> Mr. Sherman asked which plants are located where? Mr. Tavares stated this <br /> type of planting is catch as catch can. He has come up with the numbers and <br /> rod ask that placement be left up to his discretion . Mr. Sherman stated he <br /> would want to meet first to see what species are going where. The bush <br /> honeysuckle and buckhorn are on the invasive list. Finishing touches are <br /> needed on the plan. He asked if the area between the mitigative planting <br /> and top of bank are AM lam Mr. Tavares stated it is witch grass, a native <br /> grass that is not mowed. The owner ha's agreed to plant in that area, even <br /> though erosion proof now, if the Board thinks It necessary. <br /> Mr. Sherman suggested meeting before work is started to put the finishing <br /> touches on it. <br /> Mr. Johansen advised the Permit to Access form is missing. To be provided. <br /> The Building Inspector stated a fence is required around the pool. Mr. <br /> Tavares stated there is one, not tight to the pool. He is .ovig his arbor <br /> from the front to the back. Mr. Sherman asked if the fence has to be way <br /> down there? Mr. Tavares stated because of it's height, they are trying to hide <br /> it. Mr. Sherman stated it will be conditioned at the pre-work on-site that the <br /> wildlife passage through the fence wiR be addressed. Mr. Tavares agreed. <br /> Public comment; none. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to close contingent upon an on-site <br /> meeting to resolve the issues. Unanimous Vote. <br /> HARING CLOSED, <br /> 5:40 LEWIS RUBIN for removal of a chain link fence along the top of the <br /> slope of a coastal bank and the annual maintenance of vegetation on and <br /> adjacent to the coastal bank at 43 Tide Run. Norman Hayes presenting. <br /> Photos of the property were shown. <br /> fir. Sherman asked ff the vista ru ng meets the protocol? It was noted the <br /> Building Inspector commented the fence is required by code. fir. Mayes <br /> stated he was told the fence could be removed if vegetation is maaained. <br /> Mr. Wirsen asked about the corner where the walkway is located. <br />
