MASHPEE CONSERVATION COMMISSION Min'u es of 21 January 1939 Commissioners present: John Fitzsimmons, John Johansen, Ralph Shaw, George Green Jr., Tad Wollenhaupt, Greg Wirsen. With a quorum present, the Chair called the meeting to order at 6.55 p.m. 6:55 PUBLIC COMMENT: Ddichael Navickas, landscaper, was present concerning a violation. Mr. Sherman stated it was an inadvertent violation as it is in the flood zone but does not look like it would coxae under the Commission's Jurisdiction. It is a land-locked lot. The client has a new house permitted by the Commission going up next door and wanted some trees removed. They are willing to add some plantings of indigenous material. The violation can be taken care of by an enforcement order. Mr. Navickas stated the house is 12 gears old and very well.landscaped. He is always in support of minor work without paperwork. The Chair stated an RDA should be fled, Mr. Navickas agreed. 7:00 TOWN of MASHPEE PW, 1 onomosco r Road, continued from 7 January 1999. Norman Hayes was present. He advised the or change was made to the Notice of Intent that it is under 10.24 X3, maintenance of a pre-existing culvert. He also responded to the letter from Christine Gault of WBNER . She has not responded. The project is exempt under the ACC. Publiccomment: none. VOTE: Motion made and seconded to close the hearing. Unanimous Vote. HEARING LOSE . +7:05 GARY VI ALE, 43 Santuit Lane, continued from 7 January 1999. Mr. Vitale was present, John Johansen stepped down for this hearing. Mr. Sherman suggested closing pending receipt of Board of Appeals decision. Mr. Vitale advised it is scheduled for 19 February and Cape & ,Islands i representing ham. It is proposed to bring the structure down to the first floor level and add a garage. A shed on the property to be removed. WaH work to e deferred to a later time. Deck is existing. The carport to be removed also.
