He stated he takes issue with were' the pool and pool house are. <br /> Mr. Sherman advised they are only amending for the walkway. <br /> Mr. Luconi stated when he made application for his pier, all the others lined <br /> up but he was required to have his sideways. As a result, they have to come <br /> in off the channel. They were put into a "T" position. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated this can be taken up at Board of Appeals. <br /> VOTk: Motion made and seconded to continue the hearing to 29 July 1999 <br /> at T30 p.m. at the request of the applicant. <br /> HEARING CONTINUED. <br /> Storm Water Filter Project: Mr. Sherman advised this is essentially done <br /> and he is pleased with the project. The only remaining-it ms to be done are <br /> the plantings and concrete pad. The $6100 town contribution in kind has <br /> been made up. Irrigation requires 2 - 3 hours per night. He asked for <br /> volunteers. <br /> Security Gates--Quahnet Bogs: The Fire Dept. has concerns with access. <br /> The Commission did not see the need to wait any longer. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to approve the gates on a trial basis, <br /> after clearing this with the Fire Department. Unanimous vote. <br /> Cranberry Meeting: Rescheduled next meeting. It was learned the plant <br /> shut down and the pump failed. Mr. Sherman stated it fails until it is getting <br /> enough re-injected water. It was down for five hours but there was no harm <br /> done, according to Jacobs. Until slope is rev getat d, there should be <br /> someone there. <br /> Stenberg Dock A request received to rebuild a pier. Waterways gave them <br /> an Amnesty permit with nothing there. The plan is adequate but not <br /> stamped by an engineer. IVH Sherman stated he did not feel they should b <br /> rebuilding under Amnesty at this point, but if the Commission had accurate <br /> water depths, it could be acceptable. <br />
