26 August 1939 <br /> Rage 7. <br /> 7:30 MAUREEN QUINLAN for a Determination of Applicability on the <br /> repair of an existing failed soil absorption system at 14 Tuspa uin Road. <br /> Dave Saniki ?resenting. This is within the Riverfront area. The leaching <br /> has collapsed in an existing system with the leaching ' above ground water. <br /> Public comment: none. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to find negative. Unanimous us Vote. <br /> NEGATIVE DETERMINATION. <br /> 7:35 STEPHEN ILEO HUGHES to construct and maintain a stairway, pier, <br /> ramp and float at 26 Quaker Run Road. John Slavinsky provided abutter <br /> notification receipts. Perry Ellis suggested to keep the dock in the location as <br /> close to the abutter on the north side as possible. It is a steep slope. The <br /> stairway is elevated. They are scheduled with Board of Appeals on 22 <br /> September. <br /> Mr. Fitzsimmons asked the policy on intermediate landings? Mr. Sherman <br /> stated they are generally restricted to ' to turn a corner; this is a deck. Mr. <br /> Slavinsky advised the owner specifically asked to do this. <br /> Mr. Hughes stated the slope is substantial. They would like a place to put a <br /> couple of chairs to' rest as they go up and down. Mr. Slavinsky stated it is 12' <br /> Ms Boretos was concerned about the delineation of the marsh. She thought i <br /> is closer to the bank. She did net think it would impact the project but <br /> should be shown. Mr. Slavinsky advised they carne before the Beard for the <br /> proposed dwelling and received an Order of Conditions. The plan is exactly <br /> the same. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated the Commission has the right to require a re-delineation <br /> when the project gets closer to the resource. The hearing could be closed <br /> contingent upon Beard bf.appeals. <br /> Mr. Green felt it was setting a precedent going along with that large deck. <br /> Mr. W llenhaupt suggested a 48 s.f. area as a compromise. <br /> Ms Bore os asked if Mr. Hughes would be willing to consider the smaller <br /> platform? <br />
