He <br /> would like to see the information put into written form and suggested <br /> continuing for two weeks. Mr. Gray agreed. <br /> Public- comment: Ralph Faker stated they are talking about surface water. <br /> The bogs have underground springs. Dunning water floods into the bogs and <br /> into the pond. You cannot separate then, if you contaminate the beg, it will <br /> contaminate the river. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated he should point out this hearing is not to permit work, <br /> only to delineate resource areas under the Commission's Jurisdiction. It will <br /> not allow any work. <br /> Harriet Hayward stated, as even cranberry bog grower knows, they are <br /> restricted, golf courses are not. The Chair stated the Commission is only <br /> addressing delineation. <br /> Ms Foretos asked the elevation of the bog in relation to the river bed? The <br /> bog is 41-12 to 42-12, the river bed is 38.3. thereabouts. There is a 3' <br /> difference. <br /> Scott Horsley stated there is an increase of 6110 of a foot. <br /> Mr. Faker stated the lower cranberry bog has deeded sanding rights. The <br /> border lime is where the property ends. He asked ghat is being done to <br /> address run-off; <br /> Mr. Sherman stated that is not before the Commission. It would be when <br /> they core back for construction. } <br /> Mr. Faker stated the delineation is on town and private property. He also <br /> advised this property 'was proposed as cater protection district. Mr. <br /> Sherman stated that is not this Board. Mr. Faker asked what authority the <br /> 1 lashpee Master Plan has? Mr. Sherman stated they have to go through the <br /> Cape Cod Commission and Planning Board. At that time, those things will <br /> be taken qp. Property issues are not in the Commission's domain. <br /> Mr. Sherman asked if the applicant would submit the analysis in writing. <br /> They stated they would. Mr. Gray advised they dict find vernal pool activity, <br /> all documented in the resource delineation. <br />
