Town of Mashpee <br /> Conservation Commission <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> February 3, 2000 <br /> The Town of Mashpee Conservation Commission Meeting Was <br /> called to order at Mashpee Town Hall, 16 Great Neck Road. North, <br /> Mashpee, Massachusetts at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, February 3, <br /> 2000 . The Chairman, John Fitzsimmons, presided. <br /> Commission Members present: John Fitzsimmons, Chairman; <br /> George F. Green, Jr. ; John Johansen, Clerk; Carol Moore; Ralph <br /> Shaw; and Greg Nissen. <br /> Also present: Hobert Sherman, Conservation Agent; and <br /> Diane Boretos, Assistant Agent. <br /> quorum being present, the Chairman called the Meeting to <br /> order. As the first order of business he called the 6 :45 p.m. <br /> Regulations Hearing, recognizing Mr. Sherman. <br /> Mr. Sherman provided a copy of the revised Regulations for <br /> everyone noting the minor changes being proposed for approval . <br /> Mr. Sherman explained the Regulations have been reorganized <br /> noting all procedural information has been listed first, editions <br /> and consolidations have been made to the document, as well as the <br /> elimination of some references that are no long applicable. <br /> M . Sherman requested an amendme t be made to Section <br /> which would reserve the right to require elevation information <br /> at the beginning of the wetland line be provided with regard to <br /> those questionable applications in order to provide calculations <br /> for slope ratios inland and coastal banks) . <br /> After brief discussion Mr. Sherman suggested a coyer letter <br /> be included within the new regulations packet explaining said <br /> addition to Section ►.. <br /> The only deletion to the Regulations refers to the <br /> requirement of a letter with regard to certain projects involving <br /> the shingling of a house, or new windows that do no touch the <br /> ground. As this letter is now provided from the Building <br /> Department Office, M `. Sherman suggested the language be revised <br /> to state "Ne reserve the right to require a letter and <br /> explanation if so needed. n <br /> There being no public comment or further Commission <br /> discussion, the Chairman entertained a motion be made in this <br /> matter. <br /> MOTION: Greg Nirsen made a Mot on t a as per the <br /> provisions of Ch. 172 Section 8 of the Town Bylaws, I Love we <br /> accept the entire package of the revised regulations as presented <br />
