7 : 35 Robert J. Courtemanche-To construct and maintain a <br /> pier, ramp and float along the share of Popponesset Bair at 386 <br /> ashee Neck Road, Assessors Map 9 , Block 2 . <br /> The Chairman recognized David sanicki, Cape & Islands <br /> Engineering, who stated there should be letters in the file from <br /> the Shellfish Constable and the Harbor Master indicating <br /> acknowledgement of their review and approval of the proposed <br /> project . <br /> Making references to a plan of the property Mr. Sanicki <br /> noted the dune beach grass area, flood plain area, and <br /> Fopponesset Hair. At the request of the Harbor Master the project <br /> has been moved away from the southern property line in an attempt <br /> to avoid navigation activities near the channel. <br /> Mr. sane cki described the dock to be a standard five ft. ) <br /> foot dock with clear elevation above the high water line, with a <br /> ramp and float . There will be two and one-half 2 1/2 ft. ) feet <br /> of water at the end of the proposed facility for the float. <br /> Diane Boretos inquired as to the length of the dock/water <br /> depth in relation to shellfish requirements . She then <br /> recommended approval with the standard conditions, including the <br /> installation of float stops, boat identification/approval', and <br /> subject to Hoard of Appeals approval . <br /> There being no public comment or further~ Commission <br /> discussion, the Chairman entertained a motion, <br /> MOTION: Ralph Shaw made a lotion to Close and Issue pending <br /> Board of Appeals approval, the installation of float stops if <br /> deemed necessary by the shellfish Constable) , and boat <br /> .indentificatin; which motion was seconded by Caro. Moore and so <br /> voted unanimously. <br /> 7:40 D. Martin Sullivan, Jr. -To construct and maintain a <br /> deck, stairway, ramp and float along the coastal hank to Fells <br /> Pond at 78 Fells Fond Hoag, Assessor's Neap 122, Black 181. <br /> The Chairman recognized David Sanicki, Cape & Islands <br /> Engineering. <br /> The Chairman volunteered to step down from this ratter, <br /> explaining he is a member of the Fells Pond Committee. Nor. and <br /> lrs. Sullivan stated for the Record that they had no objection to <br /> lr. Fitzsimmons sitting as Chairman and did not feel there is any <br /> conflict of interest in his presiding over this Matter. <br /> Mr. Sanicki provided a plan, making reference to the <br /> location of Applicant ' s property. He explained applicant owns a <br /> narrow strip of access property to Fells Pond and would like to <br /> access the water. <br /> -8- <br />
