The areas of work are outlined in orange. <br /> Mr. 'Talbot asked ed 1f 1t had to be done in a growing state? Mr. Bresnahan <br /> advised it should be done June through September. <br /> Mr. Sherman asked if -it would be cut at the r t. r level? It will. No heavy <br /> equipment ill be. used and they will not be tearing up any banks. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated there should be a pre-work onsite. The mixture of <br /> plants to be put in is good. He would like care to be taken of the marsh <br /> mallow and some other decent plants in the mix of phragmites. Mr. <br /> Bresnahan advised he will be onsite when the work is done. They are <br /> trying to encourage native species. <br /> Mr. Talbot asked if the phragmites would be hand -cut and the herbicide . <br /> by hand This is how the State and Audubon does it. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated if they cannot get to it this fall, will they do it in the <br /> spring? Mr. Bresnahan stated with the long Fall, the window i <br /> stretched, out on the Cape. He will call IEP -for a number. Abutter <br /> notification' receipts were provided. <br /> Public rr ment: none. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to close pending IEP number and <br /> Pre-work site visit with the Agent. Unanimous dote. <br /> CLOSED PENDING. <br /> 7:30 AFCEE, Ashumet Pond, continued from 8/24/00. The Chair, John <br /> Fitzsimmons, turned the hearing over to Elliot Rosenberg, dice <br /> Chairman,man, as Mr. Fitzsimmons simmons vias not eligible to vote on the project as <br /> e was not Present for the continuances.. Spence Smith was present for <br /> the Air Force. Perry Ellis was not in attendance at the opening of t1 <br /> hearing. Mr. Ellis-arrived at 8:40 p.m. to constitute a sitting quorum and <br /> was appointed a voting member. <br /> Mr-. Sherman stated he has been meeting with Spence Smith and his <br /> tear, Steve Hurley and Bill Fisher. They have resolved all of the issues <br /> that creed to be resolved. Bill Fisher will spear on the issues. He did <br /> mention to the applicant that the Commission would ask for <br />
