She recommended <br /> mended <br /> Negative 3. <br /> Public comment: none. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to find negative. Unanimous Note. <br /> NEGATIVE DETERMINATION. <br /> Quashnet Bogs: Mr. Sherman advised originally K1 and K5 were to be <br /> abandoned to separate EIB and non-.EDB. He recommended still abandoning <br /> K1. It is a slight loss of acreage. K1 is a spawning area but K5 could be <br /> thought about. St ve Hurley would lite to abandon it. <br /> Mr. Rosenberg erg stated if the Commission makes any move to abandon it, they <br /> would limit the ability. with negotiations because there is never going to be <br /> cranberry production. He suggested not taking any action on K1 but not do <br /> any work in there. Mr. Sherman stated K 1 is not as productive as it used to <br /> be. They want to shade that southern portion by planting some trees. <br /> Mr. Rosenberg suggested coming up with a plan to send to the military that we <br /> would life to rake them Friable for fish protection. Mr. Sherman asked if he <br /> was worried about the loss if taken out of production? Mr. Rosenberg stated <br /> the military gave us the money to preserve this area for future cranberry <br /> production and his concern is the use for a purpose they did not give - tie <br /> rover to us for. <br /> VOTE:, Motion made and seconded to separate K1 and K5 and accept K1 going <br /> out and defer a decision on K5. Unanimous Note. <br /> Mr. Sherman advised Peggy Fantozzi started work. she will be meeting with <br /> Ms Boretos on Wildlife Habitat. she will be holding interviews shortly. The <br /> Amended order has not been finished yet because there are still issues- dealing <br /> with relocating trout. <br /> VOTE: Motion rade and seconded to include loth the conditions in the order <br /> and require that they request ars extension within six months of the <br /> expiration slate of the order. Unanimous Vote. <br />
