•
18 . nary 2001
Page 2.
Mr. Sherman stated they will need to do additional plantings. M
Leblanc stated her plans go by the original work limit. Mr. Sherman
stated he would like more than three plants, he would file five. He
further stated h e did not see why the tree that is not a threat should
come down. Ms Leblanc stated it is merely esthetics and they would be
grilling to do any amount of mitigative planting to replace it; that would
be preferable.
Mr. Sherman stated, if they do meaningful compensation, at least six
shrubs, and the Commission agrees, he would go along with the removal
of the tree.
The Chair questioned the two paths. Mr. Sherman stated 2 - ' wide
patois area permitted per 100'. There was disagreement with this. Mr-.
Sherman will check. Ms Leblanc stated there is a wide open path. They
can abandon the proposed path and maintain the present one.
The Chair asked if the 25% included the width of any other paths? M
oretos stated no. The Chair stated when there is a Griew corridor,
normally there is pruning to see the pond. He asked, if there is a 4' wide
pati, should the total amount of vier corridor be reduced so that the
total is 25%. Mr. Sherman stated this should be examined but is not in
the poker noir.
Mr. Sherman suggested continuing for tiro weeps and he will go out t
look around the site with FIs Leblanc to look for bare spots to
compensate for that tree. He questioned habitat value of the proposed
dwarf winterberry.
Mr. Talbot advised it has good habitat value and fruits all printer long.
Mr. Sherman summarized: Flan to be revised, pine tree to remain and
second path to be removed.
Public comment: none.
VOTE: Motion made and seconded to accept the amendment with a
revised plan to be submitted. Unanimous Vote.
AMENDMENT ACCEPTED.
7:20 JOHN KARAT for a-Determination of Applicability on tree removal
arra pruning at 151 Tirnberlane Drive.
