Mr. Sherman stated a provision can be added that a planting <br /> plan be developed by a professional and submitted and approved before <br /> work is started. .A narrative should be provided. Mr. Borselli agreed. <br /> Public comment: none. <br /> 'OTE: Motion made and seconded to accept the amendment subject t <br /> a condition requiring that a plan be submitted and approved <br /> before work starts and -pending language that the Commission <br /> has the ability to stop the work upon a finding that work i <br /> resulting in unacceptable impacts to the performance standards <br /> of the Act and the Bylaw. Unanimous Note. <br /> AMENDMENT ACCEPTED. <br /> 7:50 LEONARD FLORENCE to reconstruct approximately Soo linear <br /> feet of existing licensed rirap, to construct timber access stairs down <br /> the upper portion of the bank and incorporate stone steps within the <br /> reconstructed riprap, perform beach nourishment and to plant disturbed <br /> portions of the bank above the riprap at 78 Triton Way. Michael.Borselli <br /> and Peter Cook were present. <br /> Ms Boretos asked where are the disturbed portions? Mr. Borrelli stated <br /> adjacent to the top of the cap stones. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated slumped areas have to. be repaired and shown on <br /> the revised plan to reference in the order of Conditions. <br /> Ms Boretos asked if they could mitigate for some habitat by not bringing <br /> it up so high? Mr. Borrelli believed he could. The cap stone is at 22 plus <br /> or'minus. He has to find out where the den is and does not know how <br /> far away he has to be. Ms Boretos stated Mr. Borselli should have to <br /> justify the increase in the arrnourrnent of the bank. He advised the cap <br /> stone elevation was designed based on the wave analysis and gave run- <br /> up. 'There is a safety factor in that. Ms Boretos asked if he slid wave <br /> analysis and run-up for this site? He did. <br /> r <br /> Mr. Sherman asked the Commission to suspend discussions for 30 <br /> seconds to allover the 7:55 hearing to be called as it is long overdue and <br /> Mr. Klein, the gentleman present for the bearing has traveled a long way. <br />
