Town of Ma tepee <br /> Conservation Commission <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> March 1, 2001 <br /> The Town of Nva shpee Conservation Commission meeting was <br /> called to order in Conference Room 2, Mashpee Town Hall, 1 <br /> Great Neck Road North, Mashpee, Massachusetts at p.m. on <br /> Thursday, March 1, 2001. The ChairmanI John Fitzsimmons, <br /> presided. <br /> Commissioners present: John Fitzsimmons, Chairman; John <br /> Johansen, Clerk; Carol Moore; Ralph Shaw; and Robert Shea. <br /> Also present: Robert Sherman, Conservation Agent; and <br /> .ane Boretos, Assistant conservation Agent. <br /> The chairman declared a quorum to be present and called the <br /> Meeting to order. <br /> Public Comment <br /> Having put the question, the Chairman determined there was <br /> no public comment. <br /> 7 : 00-William Killeen to construct a four bedroom dwelling, <br /> with deck., at 3 Greenwood Road, Assessor' s leap 117, Block 393 . <br /> The Chairman recognized Al Bunker, BSS Design, who stated <br /> the proposal is construction of a four bedroom house on a vacant <br /> lot located at the corner of Greenwood and James Road. He made <br /> reference to the septic system which is located more than 100 <br /> feet from the resource area- the bordering vegetated wetland; <br /> Fish Rook Pond; flood zone elevation 11 and coastal bank; the <br /> slope area- 12 foot contour top of the coastal bank; BVW and the <br /> 100 foot offset. No work is being proposed within 100 feet of <br /> the BW. <br /> References were being made to the Plan indicating the shape <br /> of the lot being narrow; and noting setbacks from the septic <br /> sten and side lot line; 35 feet from the top of the Town <br /> coastal bank to the limit of work; 1, 000 square feet of lawn; <br /> revegetation of the disturbed area. <br /> Mr. Sherman clarified that only that portion of lawn area <br /> being shown on the plan presented to the commission this date <br /> would be considered for approval; any further/additional area <br /> could have to be addressed by an amended order at a later date. <br /> Diane Boretos thanked Mr. Bunker for marking out the Bv . <br /> She asked if Applicant might be willing to make a land <br /> contribution. Mr. Bunker replied Applicant did not appear to be <br /> interested in doing so. <br />
