4. Extension Permit/Peninsula Council-The Conservation <br /> Agent reported there has not been an extension granted in this <br /> matter, therefor they are entitled to one (1) extension. <br /> MOTION: Michael Talbot made a Motion to approve the <br /> Extension Permit for treatment at Fells Pond; which Motion was <br /> seconded by Ralph Shaw and so voted unanimously. <br /> 5 . Business Meeting-The Conservation Agent reported it has <br /> been scheduled for Thursday, April 19th, at 7: 00 p.m. providing a <br /> draft agenda for review. <br /> 6. C.O.C. Request Tidewatch Revetment/M. I .P. Maintenance <br /> in Perpetuity-The Conservation Agent recommended approval . <br /> MOTION: Michael Talbot made a Motion to approve the Request <br /> for Tidewatch Revetment in Perpetuity; which Motion was seconded <br /> by Ralph Shaw and so voted unanimously. <br /> 7 . The Chairman informed the Commission that he would not <br /> be present at the next scheduled Meeting. <br /> New Business <br /> 1 . Association Preservation of Cape Cod-Conference on growth <br /> issues on Friday, May 18th, Cape Cod Community College. <br /> Admission is free, registration is required. <br /> 2 . Request to repair damage to fish ladder/John' s Pond-The <br /> Conservation Agent requested emergency funding for this purpose. <br /> MOTION: John Johansen made a Motion to approve funding from <br /> the Conservation Land Maintenance account for the purpose of <br /> repair of fish ladder at Johns Pond; which Motion was seconded <br /> by Michael Talbot and so voted unanimously. <br /> 3 . FS-1 Treatment Design Presentation-The Conservation <br /> Agent reported the design speculations have been finalized for <br /> presentation to the Commission on Tuesday, April 17, 2001, at <br /> 2 : 30 p.m. <br /> Michael Talbot updated the Commissioners relative to the <br /> proposed December 5th Conference for the Landscape Community. <br /> There was brief discussion regarding the cranberry bog <br /> retaining ponds; it was agreed to take a vote in order to provide <br /> direction to Mr. Handy. <br /> MOTION: Michael Talbot made a Motion to direct Brian Handy <br /> to construct a reservoir for the cranberry bog at the sandpit <br /> side, being one of two possible considerations presented earlier; <br /> which Motion was seconded by Ralph Shaw and so voted unanimously. <br /> -14- <br />
