i <br /> I <br /> i <br /> Town of Ma hee <br /> Conservation Conmâ–ºi s s i on <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> March 15, 2001 <br /> The Town of Mashpee Conservation Commission Meeting was <br /> called to order in Conference Room #3, Mashpee Town Hall, 16 <br /> Great Neck ad North, Mashpee, Massachusetts at 6: 55 p.m. on <br /> Thursday, March h 1 , 2001 . The Chairman, John Fitzsimmons, <br /> presided. <br /> Conu issioners present: John FFit sinunons, Chairman; John <br /> Johansen, Clerk; Carol Moore; Ralph Shaw; Robert Shea; and <br /> Michael Talbot. <br /> Also present: Robert Sherman, Conservation Agent; and <br /> Diane Boretos, Assistant Conservation Agent . <br /> The Chairman declared a quorum to be present and called the <br /> Meeting to order. s the first order of business he addressed; <br /> Public Comment <br /> Ravine put the question, the Chairman determined there was <br /> no public comment. <br /> Mr. Sherman reported Martha Twombly had been expected to <br /> address the Commission regarding the possibility of a one month <br /> extension with regard to the Jurisdictional Determination-New <br /> Seabury Project. Making reference to a setter dated March 15, <br /> 2001 received from Martha Twombly, Planner, Cape Cod Commission, <br /> stating her belief it would be advantageous for all involved <br /> parties to continue for one month. <br /> Mr. Sherman concurred there are many elements involved in <br /> this matter that should be discussed further, stating his support <br /> in favor of a continuance. <br /> The Chairman reported that he has been contacted by the <br /> Peninsula Council, New Seabury, requesting deferment of the <br /> Hearing in order to accomodate these interested citizens who are <br /> away for the winter. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated Ms, Twombly has proposed she contact the <br /> Conservation office tomorrow (March 16th) for the purpose of <br /> rescheduling to April 0th; as well as having prepared a draft <br /> letter for signature by the Chairman. <br /> The Chairman made a determination of the commission to be in <br /> support of the request for rescheduling. <br /> Where being no further discussion the Chairman entertained a <br /> motion. <br />
