Town of Mashpee <br /> Conservation commission <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> August 9, 2001 <br /> The Town of Mashpee Conservation Commission Meeting was called to <br /> order in Conference Room #3, Mashpee Town Hall, 16 Great Neck <br /> Road North, Mashpee, Massachusetts at 6 : 55 p.m. on Thursday, <br /> August 9, 2001 . The Chairman, John Fitzsimmons, presided. <br /> Commissioners present: John Fitzsimmons, Chairman; John <br /> Johansen, Clerk; Stephanie Jones, Associate Member; Carole Moore; <br /> Leonard Pinaud; Elliot Rosenberg, vice Chairman; Ralph Shaw; and <br /> Michael Talbot . <br /> Also present: Robert Sherman, Conservation Agent. <br /> The Chairman declared a quorum to be present and called the <br /> Meeting to order. As the first order of business he addressed <br /> the matter of Public Comment - Nome. <br /> Non-Hearing Agenda - old Business <br /> . The Chairman recognized Norman Hares and Keirin Healy, <br /> BSC, representing Dunhill Development Corp. Permit has been <br /> issued for the construction of a spa and pool outside of the <br /> fifty o ft . ) foot non-vegetated buffer zone. The pool has been <br /> eliminated and the ha rbales have been mored three 8 ft . ) feet <br /> seaward. <br /> . Mayes reported the Assistant Conservation Agent has made <br /> a site .inspection. Administrative approval is being requested. <br /> References were being made to the plan, relocation of the <br /> spa and haybales, the area of sassafras trees has been preserved. <br /> Mr. Sherman reported Diane Boretos has recommended this <br /> matter~ be considered a minor~ change for administrative approval . <br /> Clarifications were made as to the plan of record (5/14/01 - <br /> 08/01/01.) . <br /> There being no Commission or public comment, the Chairman <br /> entertained a motion. <br /> MOTION: Elliot Rosenberg made a Motion to accept the <br /> change, as requested by Applicant; which Motion was seconded b <br /> Ralph Shaw and so voted unanimously. <br /> 1 . Mr. Sherman reported upon the status of the storage <br /> shed. It has been agreed to locate the new shed behind the old. <br /> He requested permission to proceed with the project as it is <br /> desperately needed and could be paid out of Conservation Fund <br />
