Diane Boretos reported she has Dade an investigation of the <br /> site. She stated there is documented historical, turtle nesting <br /> n this particular coastal bank. There also exists a very nice <br /> stand of carex pensylvanica serving as vol habitat. <br /> Neither the Conservation/Assistant Agent had any major <br /> concerns with either of these two properties (Lang and Grady) ; <br /> they recommended approval . <br /> There being no further Commission or public comment, the <br /> Vice Chairman entertained a motion. <br /> MOTION: Ralph Shaw made a Motion to approve the Amended <br /> order with reference to 23 and 25 ocean Bluff Drive; which Motion <br /> was seconded by Carole Moore and so voted. unanimously. <br /> Non-Nearing Agenda - old Business - Continued <br /> . Update-Proposed wind Farm - Mr. Sherman reported the <br /> proposal is for approximately mately 12 -171 grind turbans 400 ft. in <br /> height . The pilings would. be 18 ft . in diameter at the bottom. <br /> The project is huge, possible jet plow underneath Popponesset <br /> Bay, with 6 ft . wide underground tunnel to provide for the cable. <br /> Concerns were raised regarding the noise factor, electromagnetic <br /> pulse, impacts to migratory birds and schooling fish. <br /> . other - Diane Boretos advised Commissioners the final <br /> Supplemental/New Seabury Review is available for review in the <br /> Conservation Office. one of the ,most significant changes is the <br /> commercial building on the northeast side of Popponesset Bridge <br /> which has been deleted. (The CCC will advise Conservation of the <br /> Hearing date when decided, as well as to request a joint <br /> meeting. ) <br /> The Vice Chairman raised the issue of those Executive <br /> Session Minutes which have not yet been approved. Commissioners <br /> have been asked to review said Minutes for comment at this <br /> Meeting, and to vote on their acceptance. <br /> There being no comment/request for amendments the vice <br /> Chairman entertained a motion. <br /> MOTION: John Fitzsimmons made a Motion to accept and <br /> approve all. Executive Session Minutes, as submitted, to date; <br /> which Motion was seconded by Michael. Talbot and so voted <br /> unanimously. <br /> The vice Chairman further suggested all unapproved Minutes <br /> o date which have been submitted for approval be reviewed for <br /> comment/acceptance at the next scheduled Meeting. <br /> John Fitzsimmons made 'reference to the proposed Meeting <br /> Calendar for the year 2002, not in the two slates in March, 14th <br /> -11 <br />
