y Town of Mashpee Conservation Commission Minutes of Meeting November 1 , 2001 The Town of Mashpee Conservation Commission Meeting was called to order in Conference Boon #3, Mashpee Town Hall, 1 Great Neck Road forth, Mashpee, Massachusetts at p.m. cin Thursday, November 15, 2001 . The Chairman, John Fitzsimmons, '- presided. itzsi on ,presided. i commissioners present: John Fitzsimmons, chairman;.. John Johansen, Clerk; Stephanie Jones, Associate Member; Leonard Pinaud; Elliot Rosenberg,, Vice Chairman; Ralph Shaw; and Michael Talbot . Also present: Robert Sherman, Conservation Agent; and Diane Boretos, Assistant Conservation Agent. The Chairman declared a quorum to be present and called the Meeting to order. As the first order of business he addressed the matter of Public Comment . Approval of Minutes MOTION: Elliot Rosenberg made a Motion to approve the Minutes of May0, ' 2001; May 24, 2001; June '7, 2001; June 21, 2001; and July 12, 2001; be approved as submitted. which Motion was seconded by Ralph Shaw and so voted unanimously. Non-nearing Agenda -- Old Business 2 . Diane Bretos reported on the December Sth Landscaping Conference. 4 . (A) Diane Boretos reported the Chairman of Natural Resource Committee is inquiring of the commission about dock approval in ACEC areas without benefit of ACEC Management Plans. Mx. Sherman referred to Statute Chapter 91, which states a Chapter 91 permit cannot be issued for dols within ACC areas without a Management Plan. He clarified,. this is a Chapter 91 Regulation; not the wetlands Protection Act. The Town Planner would have ulhave j this matter. .tte .
