MASHPEE CONSERVATION COMMISSION Minutes of 4 April 2002 Public Rearing Mashpee Town Hall Meeting Room 3 Commissioners present; Michael Talbot, John Johansen, Robert Sherman, Carole Moore,re, Stephanie Jones. quorum being present at 6-.59 p.m., Michael Talbot, Acting Chairman, called the meeting to order. Further, Michael stated Stephanie Jones, an Alternate, would vote at this meeting. Public Comment: None. leo n-Hca ri e n a 6;59 p.m. 2002 Environental Awards...Bob Sherman stated that he and Diane thought it might be an idea and unique situation to give a joint Environmental Award to Cape Cod Commission, to willowbend and to 14orsley & Witten for the progressive way they worked with us on the willowbend Golf Course. Notion made; seconded; and unanimously approved to grant the joint award as suggested. 7:02 p.m. 2002 Cape wall...Cape wally week project goes from .dune I to June 9. Support needed. Anyone interested should contact Bob Sherman and he'll put volunteer in touch with those in charge. 7:03 p.m. Parking/trespass problems on Monorno coy Way-to-Water. Locals want signage. Bob gave copy of sign for approval. Motion made; seconded; and unanimously carried for Bob Sherman to deploy signs as discussed. 7: 08 p.m. Bob Sherman announced that Friends of the Mashpee National wildlife Reserve e need people to volunteer an hour to man table at their.dune 8 event at Mashpee Commons. Table to be available 4 hours from l I a.m. to 3 p.m. Let Bob know if interested in helping. 7:09 p.m. Bob Court rnanche requ steal Administrative Approval to change access to dock. Motion made; seconded; and unanimously carried to grant Administrative Approval, 7:12 p.m. Approval of NEnutes. Motion made; seconded; and unaninnously carried to approve Minutes of November r 15, 29, December 13, 200 1, January 3,+N arch 7, and March 1 4, oo2. 7:13 p.m. Bob Sherman provided the Commission with a copy of budget approved by the Finance Committee and reviewed line items with the Commission. Motion made; seconded; and unanimously carried that Bob Sherman is directed to look into feasibility of charging nominal fee for tour program.
