Diane Boretos has tendered her resignation from the <br /> Natural resources Subcommittee. <br /> . Jones violation Update Diane Boretos reported <br /> $5, 000 . 00 worth of seed has been donated to the Town as <br /> requested by the Commission. <br /> . Conservation Land Subcommittee Meeting - Diane Boretos <br /> suggested a meeting be scheduled at a convenient date and time. <br /> ' . Mr. Sherman reported a request has been received from <br /> Mary Fox for a pier. she currently shares a pier with her <br /> neighbor and would like her own. Even though she has an <br /> agreement for a shard pier, it was the consensus of the <br /> Commission that she file an application. <br /> New Business <br /> 1. Firearms Policy for staff - Diane Boretos reported on <br /> two individual situations which caused concern for her personal <br /> safety while inspecting remote conservation lands . she requested <br /> approval for either a pepper gun or license for firearm to remain <br /> in the vehicle for purposes of self-protection in the event of an <br /> emergency. <br /> The Commission agreed the matter should be further <br /> investigated concerning Town Policy/Town Employee, Mashpee Police <br /> Department, and Board of Selectmen. <br /> . Violation-30 Oc} way Bay Road - The responsible parties <br /> are eager to address the violation and have proven to be <br /> cooperative. Nor. Sherman suggested providing them the <br /> opportunity to make amends, issuing an Enforcement Order in the <br /> event they do not follow through. <br />
