} <br /> Town of Mashpee <br /> Conservation Commission <br /> i Minutes of Meeting <br /> June 13, 2002 <br /> The Town of Mashpee Conservation Commission Meeting was <br /> called to order in Conference Room , Mashpee Town Hall, 1 <br /> Great Neck Road North, Mashpee, Massachusetts at 6 : 55 p.m. on <br /> Thursday, June 13, 2002 . The Chairman, LTohn Fitzslmmons, <br /> presided. <br /> i <br /> Commissioners present: John Fitzsimmons, Chairman, John <br /> Johansen, Clerk; Stephanie Jones, Associate Member; Leonard <br /> Pinaud; Elliot Rosenberg, vice Chairman; and Ralph Shaw. <br /> Also present: Diane Boretos, Assistant Conservation <br /> Commission Agent. <br /> A quorum being present, the Chairman called the Meeting to <br /> order, <br /> 6: 55 Public Comment - None. <br /> Non-Hearing Agenda <br /> 1. Diane Horetos suggested the number of Hearings be <br /> limited to ten 10due to the absence of the Conservation Agent. <br /> She reasoned this number to be manageable for her. <br /> John Johansen questioned the necessity of limitation as <br /> there are a number of continuations on any given agenda fou <br /> continuances out of thirteen scheduled Hearings this date) . <br /> The Chairman suggested some flexibility be taken into <br /> consideration in order to prevent a backlog of work upon the <br /> Conservation Agent ' s return. <br /> It was the consensus of the Commission that the Assistant <br /> Agent use her discretion in scheduling Hearings. <br /> M TI Elliot Rosenberg made a Motion allowing the <br /> 9. <br /> Assistant Conservation Agent to use her di.s ret i, n in lrri ting <br /> s the number of Hearings to be addressed during the Conservation <br /> Agent' s absence to ten (10) ; which Motion was seconded by Ralph <br /> Shaw and so coed unanimously. - <br /> 7: 00 <br /> oo Scott Taylor for a house addition, septic system, <br /> retaining gall, relocation of underground utilities and driveway <br /> reconstruction at 139 Popponesset Island Road, Assessors Map 112, <br /> Block 1 . <br /> The Chairman recognized Dave Sanicki, Cape & Islands <br /> Engineering, representing the Applicant.
