MASHPEE CONSERVATION TION COMMISSION Minutes of 19 September, 2002 Public Hearing ashpee Town Hall Meeting Room 3 Commissioners present: Elliot Rosenberg, Stephanie Jones, Leonard Pinaud, Ralph Shaw, Michael Talbot Staff present: Robert Sherman, Agent; Frances Wise, Board Secretary Elliot Rosenberg, Vice Chairman, called the meeting to order at 6:55 p.m. Public Comment: None. Non-Tearing Agenda Old Business 1. AFCEE abandonment of wells. Bob Sherman described details of this project, and stated that it could be allowed without a filing, since the Commission can allow installation of artesian wells without a filing. Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried to approve AFCEE's abandonment of wells as described in their recommended conditions without the need for a filing. 2. Benway revegetation plan. Bob reported that Mrs. Benway has recently submitted a plan which looks a lot better. However, he still has a few questions, so he suggested that the Commission authorize Michael Talbot and hire to make the final comments on the plan. Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried to authorize Bob and Michael to negotiate this plan. 3. Regulations Committee. It was agreed that this committee (Bob, Elliot, Mike and Len) will meet at Elliot's home on Thursday, September 26, at 7 p.m. to discuss revisions needed. . ,John Johansen Dinner. It was agreed that a pot luck dinner will be held at ( like Talbot's hone on October 10 at 7 p.m. Diana Lund and Bob will coordinate. Bob also suggested that attendees make a $10 donation towards a gift to commemorate John's nine years of devoted service. . special Condition 80B. Bob said this condition is actually part of the DEQ' requirements too. Every certificate of Compliance with plans prepared by an engineer or surveyor needs a written statement from that professional stating that the work has
