MASHIREE CONSERVATION COMMISSION Minutes of October 3, 2002 Public Hearing see Town Hall Meeting Room 3 Commissioners present: Jack Fitzsimmons, Elliot Rosenberg, Stephanie Jones,, Leonard Pinaud, Ralph Shaw. Staff present: Robert Sherman, Agent; Diane Baretos, Assistant Agent; Frances Wise, Board Secretary Jack Fitzsimmons, Chairman, called the meeting to order at 6:55 p.m. Public Comment: None. Bob Sherman stated we had issued an enforcement order to Mr. Prouix for an illegal dock, and given him until October I st to file a !Notice of Intent, H e has retained a lawyer and requested an a tensi on to N oVem er 1 st, and 13ob recommended giving him that extension. Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried to grant IIIb. Proulx an extension to November 1 to file his Notice of Intent. 2. 8 Squaw's Lane. Bob reported a request from Cape & Islands on 8 Squaws Lane, where they discovered high ground Vater and to ensure separation of the septic system, the plan has been revised. There are no changes to the house's foot print or to the grading. This is a land-locked block in the flood zone. Bob recommended approval. Motion rade, seconded and unanimously carried to approve the reprised plan. 3. 422 Monomoscoy load. Bob reported a request from James F eiffarth, for an administrative review of an existing order of Conditions, winch stipulated crushed shell to be used. However, the applicant is using recycled asphalt base with 3/4" native stone on top. Len Pinauld said asphalt does leach, but he's not sure how much. Bob will investigate how much would leach, and recommended a furtherance to the next meeting. . Marinas and float storage. Bob reported that last yeat we received complaints from citizens regarding the Little River Boat lard and especially the New Seabury Marina, where they rented float storage by attaching floats to existing floats, so they were
