Mr. Casey was present. Bob
consulted with Bill Davis, an osprey expert with Fish and Wildlife, who agreed that this
is an appropriate place for an osprey pole. Bob recommended approval.
Iletin made, seconded and unanimously carried to move for a Negative
Determination.
7:55 p.m. Mar-tin Wolff, 5 Keel Way (proposed house additions and install septic
system . Dave Sanicki, Cape & Islands Engineering, represented the applicant.
Diane asked how he will be accessing the excavation machinery. Mr. Sanicki said if he
cannot get the machinery back there, they'll do it by hand.
Diane said in a filing by Mr. Wolff in 1995 there appears to be a violation at the site for
clear cutting from sides 9 through 7 which might have been done by a prior owner and
for clear cutting in another area, for which there is no Certificate-of Compliance. Not
only did he not complete the proposed plantings, but he did additional cutting into the
salt lands. Diane said we could approve this now and issue an Enforcement Order
requiring a revegetation plan for full restoration before any work is done.
Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried to close the hearing with the
condition that no construction work be done on the property until a revegeation plan for
full restoration is approved and done.
8:00 p.m. ani un-Nabi, 134 Popponesset Island Toad (upgrade septic system,
relocate water line and replace stone driveway).
