4 Mashlpee.Conservation Commission Minutes of Jure 24, 2010 Public Hearings Mashpee Town Hall Commissioners: Chairman Jack Fitzsimmons, Vice Chairman Ralph Shaw, Brad sweet, John Rogers, Mark Gurnee Staff Present: Drew McManus (Conservation Agent) and Iris Carpenter.(Administrative secretary) The meeting was called to order with a quorum by Chairman Fitzsimmons at 6:55 prn. There was no public comment. Pre/Post Hearinq Agenda 1 Approval of Minutes from 6/10/10 Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried to approve the minutes of June 10, 2010. 2 Amendment to COC for SE -1631: Agent McManus received a call from the lawyer representing buyers for 18 Waterline Drive North in regards to a Certificate of Compliance that was recorded back in December 2600. Since then, the previous owners have upgraded the septic system and were approved for an additional bedroom which conflicts.with the ongoing special conditions that were recorded with the COC. The attorney has drafted an amendment to the COC to include the " bedroom in the ongoing conditions. 3 Updates: santuit Pond Dann & Johns Pend Fish Leader: Tuesday was the final meeting at santuit Pond Dam fish ladder and Johns Pond Fish Ladder with NRCS regarding the Cape Cod Water Resource restoration grant money. Both projects are up for approval of grant funding. Mashpee and Barnstable will also assist In funding for the overall repairs to the darn and fish ladder at Santuit Pond. Jr 0 AFCEE: Ashumet Pond Treatment: The Airforce Center for the Environment& Engineering will be filing a Notice of. Intent for another aluminum/sulfate treatment of Ashurnet Pond. This was previously done for the first time in 2001. Two employees from Cl- M2HiII, who is the contractor that does the treatment, met with the Agent to review the process. They are attempting to get on the July 22 agenda and will host a public informational session before the meeting at 6-.00pm. • Regulation # — Docks and Piers: Agent McManus has reviewed most of the comments from the Commission and will be sending out a reprised version. Vice Chairman Shaw mentions that on page 3 under item 10 regarding what the depth of water should be when the boat is docked. H feels that it should state when the boat is fully loaded.
