The Building Department had sent the Agent ar note stating that building regulations only <br /> require two forms of egress so there'is not a compelling reed for the third door. Agent McManus <br /> reads the Chapter 172 bylaw for the record. The waiver of Requirement is setup for the purpose <br /> f a compelling need for health or safety reasons or if improving a resource area. He i concerned <br /> with the wildlife impact and taring to maintain the buffer strip a . rigin ll r permitted. 1r. Sullivan <br /> has considered.the wetland area and limited work area and states that they are placing 0-12 <br /> sonotubes but portions will be hovering over the limited work area and the actual entrance to the <br /> deck will be within the work area, The Agent starter than the issue is the work area that is ar naturally <br /> vegetated buffer and is in pristine condition and than it is not a previously disturbed with lawn or <br /> landscaped area. Mr. Gurnee asks if Mr. Sullivan decreases the size of the deck — possibly to 3 — <br /> and possibly a raised walkway directly from the door, if that would not encroach the buffer. Agent <br /> McManus suggests looking at than type of deck and.placing the mitigation in a new area. Mr. <br /> Sullivan had decided on ' in terms of a handicap access but can change it t ' with a cantilever. <br /> Agent McManu-s recommends instead of a continuance that thi.s ICDA can be approved contingent <br /> upon receiving new plans than show the width and length of the revised deck. <br /> Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried for a Negative Determination contingent inion <br /> receipt of revised plan <br /> b Conscom Permit Fee Increases: (Manch 14 to Selectmen's meeting)—Agent McManus explains <br /> that he was unable to attend the Inst Selectmen's meeting for the permit fee increases.
