They would like to remove four red spruces that are crowded and in various stages of dying and replace them with a grouping ofthree cedars. There were stone stairs previously approved but they would like to remove them from the plans and grade the area naturally. In another area, they would like to remove a mature oak tree that is also dying. The Sullivan's have triad to treat it but it has not responded. They would like t replace it with another 15' oak tree. Due to excavation for the barn, they unfortunately damaged a pitch pine's root systems and are requesting removal of that tree as well but will replace it with ars 18' cedar. Agent McManus states that the tree removal will have no impact to the resource area. The other charges are cosmetic.
