They would like to remove four red spruces that <br /> are crowded and in various stages of dying and replace them with a grouping ofthree cedars. <br /> There were stone stairs previously approved but they would like to remove them from the plans <br /> and grade the area naturally. In another area, they would like to remove a mature oak tree that is <br /> also dying. The Sullivan's have triad to treat it but it has not responded. They would like t <br /> replace it with another 15' oak tree. Due to excavation for the barn, they unfortunately damaged a <br /> pitch pine's root systems and are requesting removal of that tree as well but will replace it with ars <br /> 18' cedar. Continued from April 2 , 2011- NOl <br /> Resource Area: LSCSF <br /> Material submitted; Catch Basin Replacement 3131111 Cape & Islands Engineering <br /> John Slaivinski from Cape & Islands Engineering explains that this area is the lowest spot in the <br /> area with an elevation fY2' and back in 2003, there was a catch basin install which worked but <br /> with all the new.constructions and debris, it created a solid basin. They are proposing to take the <br /> old basin out and install two neer ores. There will be no grade changes and the proposed area is <br />
