October 15, 1980 <br /> 14IN T S OF THE BOARD of HEALTH <br /> Meeting was called to order at 1:45 B. M. by Chairman Lawrence. <br /> Memo from the Board of Selectmen to Steven Lbel was read about the sum for gas <br /> increase. A Letter was received from Steve Lebel regarding the cost to him by <br /> not having a building at disposal area for his use as stated in his contract. It was moves <br /> o send a copy of this letter to the Chairman of Board of Selectmen, A letter <br /> a <br /> to be seat to Board of Selectmen asking for a meeting with them. or a member <br /> of the board to discuss this blatant problem. Too, in hopes we can core up <br /> with some corrective measures to satisfy Mr. Lebel and our legal standing on <br /> said contract. <br /> Review of permits: $157 is owed, total $14,332,50, <br /> Otis Trailer: Travel trailers are in use. Still we have no information on <br /> any litigation pending or started. See tax copy. <br /> Letter from Highwood water e: Bleeders set into water line. See letter PCE. <br /> Packet was received for Animal Inspector. Copies will be seat to James Ames <br /> and Dr. Lowrance. <br /> Jerry Umina came in with more information about his gas station. Be has <br /> 2.10,000 gallon tams, 2-32 LBS anode, 6,000 tak same. Anode protection and <br /> Zinc 11 lining. Letter will be seat to Board Brom Americans Engineers, Under <br /> this set up Board agrees to this installation. <br /> Nor. Ford, Mr. Savery and Mr. Ellioan representatives of New Seabury met with <br /> the Board on the Bluff situation and Maushop Village ire response to question <br /> n letter from the Board. Chris Burden states he will file a letter of intent <br /> to sand bag bank, pour compatible material over bank. View of the Board is on <br /> information given we cannot conclude. Ir. Burden thought the only. concern <br /> was upgrade of old systems, which for three cottages , it is really a danger, <br /> Proposal was made to lower* system 201 which will give distance 'required for <br /> comiance with Title Iv, They will continue to wort out with BQE over Bluff, <br /> On Section of Phase 1 the backgrade which erodes after rain will be replaced <br /> and cl. ye . More work will be done for stabilization. <br /> Mr. Buckingham gave a report on the hazardous waste prog'ram that he attended <br /> last week. <br /> Board agreed memo should be sent to Board of Selceten stating that we will <br /> not accept or pay anymore bilis that the original authorization is not from <br /> this .Board. <br /> Meeting was adjourned at 3:15 P-M* <br /> All members were present at the meeting. <br /> .Board of Health <br /> Charles H.
